SC-94 Acrylic Solvent Cement

Caseway SC-94 is a blush resistant solvent cement for bonding acrylic to itself and especially extruded Acrylic. It evaporates slower than SC-100 & SC-125 but flows easier achieving a more bubble free joint. It will develop a strong bond within minutes and can be applied quickly with a non-corrosive solvent syringe, dropper, brush, or by using the “soak method”. Solvent cementing depends on the softening and intermingling of the two surfaces to be joined so that there is actual cohesion between the materials themselves. After assembly, the solvent evaporates or dissipates through the material leaving no residue. The choice of cementing technique will depend on the type of joint and material to be cemented. *Typical setting time is 3 - 5 minutes, but may be longer depending on temperature and humidity. The bond strength will continue to increase over several hours. SC-94 is highly recommended when cementing in high humidity.
